Tracer Technology carries many products which the US State Department and the US Department of Commerce consider to be very effective tools of combat and thereby restrict export of said products. Specifically, countries that are not on the friendliest terms with the US cannot receive such restricted equipment. It is the Buyer's responsibility to request and obtain export licenses for the export of the subject items, and to ensure that the requirements of all applicable laws, regulations and administrative policies are met. We will not consider an export order unless we are presented by the buyer with the appropriate permits as well as a letter from the Depts. of State and Commerce stating that Tracer Technology is hereby authorized to export the products in question to the buyer in question. Restricted Products Night vision goggles, pocketscopes, rifle sights, and items employing similar image intensification technology, including the image intensifier tube, are currently identified as Munitions List items. Ghillie Suits are currently identified as Munitions List items. Export Application Procedures A. Export of restricted equipment without a valid export permit issued by the U.S. Department of State Office of Defense Trade Controls is strictly prohibited and is a federal crime under Title 22; Foreign Relations; Sub-chapter M, International Traffic In Arms, Parts 121 through 130. These regulations are issued by the U.S. Department of State under the authority of Section 38 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2778). These regulations govern the export of articles, services, and technical data identified on the U.S. Munitions List. B. It is the Buyer's responsibility to request and obtain export licenses for the export of the subject items, and to ensure that the requirements of all applicable laws, regulations and administrative policies are met. Verification that Buyer has obtained a valid U.S. Government export license will be required prior to delivery by Tracer Technology. C. The application process takes approximately 30-45 days. Two documents are needed for application process: a purchase order and an original signed Nontransfer and Use Certificate (DSP 83).
